Peony series.
The peony’s petals seem to dance and sway in an abstract, almost dreamlike manner, capturing the essence of its graceful and elegant nature. I tried expertly manipulated the oils on the canvas to create a sense of movement and texture, allowing the viewer to almost feel the velvety softness of the petals.
As the sun’s rays permeate through the layers of color, the peony’s vibrant shades of pink and red take on an ethereal quality, seemingly illuminated from within. The play of light and shadow gives the flower a three-dimensional appearance, making it appear as though it could be plucked from the canvas.
The painting is sold framed ready to hang. Wooden golden frame. Unframed size 60x45cm.
Materials used:
Linen: handmade natural high quality linen cloth with 4 layers oil priming before paint.
Paint: Winsor & Newton Oil (made in France), Georgian (made in England).
Each of my paintings carefully packaged, shipped, and insured, through a reputable courier.
