White roses
Tanya Stefanovich
£1,850
Flowers series.
The white roses, symbols of Love, stand tall and proud as they emerge from the bucket. Their forms are depicted with bold and dynamic brushstrokes, capturing the essence of their radiance and exuberance. Each petal is infused with vibrant white, capturing the innate beauty of these sun-kissed blooms.
Against the textured gray background, the sunflowers take on an almost sculptural quality, as if they are reaching out from the canvas itself. The impasto technique adds depth and tactile texture, creating a sense of three-dimensionality that draws the viewer’s attention.
The gray background serves as a muted yet powerful contrast, allowing the roses to shine even brighter. Its textured impasto strokes add visual interest and a sense of depth, while the subdued color palette adds an air of contemplation to the scene.
Inspired by Vincent van Gogh’s Sunflowers
