New York Abstract
My series City Abstracts.
In this abstract representation, the bustling cityscape of New York would be transformed into a play of shapes, lines, and textures. The iconic skyline, featuring skyscrapers like the Empire State Building, might be depicted as simplified geometric forms, rising vertically against the backdrop of a muted grey sky.
The worm accents might be strategically placed to represent sources of light, such as streetlights, windows, or reflections on water surfaces. These splashes of orange against the predominantly grey backdrop could evoke a sense of warmth and intrigue, drawing the viewer’s attention to specific focal points within the painting.
Linen: handmade natural high quality linen cloth with 4 layers oil priming before paint.
Paint: Winsor & Newton Oil (made in France), Georgian (made in England).
Each of my paintings carefully packaged, shipped, and insured, through a reputable courier.
