Landscape Abstract

Tanya Stefanovich

£2,110

My series Abstracts.

The sea takes up a significant portion of the canvas, dominating the lower half of the painting. It is painted in varying shades of blue, evoking a sense of depth and movement. The blue hues may range from deep navy to lighter cerulean, suggesting the dynamic nature of the water.
In the middle ground or foreground of the painting, the abstract shape of a cityscape emerges. This could be portrayed using geometric forms or simplified outlines to represent buildings and structures. The cityscape might blend into the surrounding sea, symbolizing the close relationship between the city and the water.
The overall composition combines abstract elements of sea, city, and sky. The contrast between the calm, expansive sea and the dynamic, celestial sky creates a sense of tension and balance. The painting invites viewers to interpret the relationship between the city and its natural surroundings, with the sun and clouds serving as a powerful symbol of the environment’s influence on urban life.
