Narcisum field

£750
Impasto series.
Beneath this resplendent sky lies a vast field, a tapestry woven from the tapestry of nature’s most delicate gems. An array of narcissus flowers dominate the landscape, their vibrant hues serving as an ode to the awakening of life after the slumber of winter. The impasto technique is masterfully employed here, allowing each petal to rise from the canvas in sculpted relief. Each brushstroke becomes a celebration of texture, as the flowers burst forth with a lifelike quality that invites touch and admiration. The narcissus flowers come in a kaleidoscope of colors, their petals ranging from pristine whites to radiant yellows and oranges. The center of each flower is a trumpet-shaped marvel, intricately detailed with subtle gradients and highlights that catch the light in captivating ways. The thick layers of paint convey the tactile sensation of the flowers’ soft, velvety surfaces, creating an interplay of light and shadow that adds a captivating dimension to the artwork.
